patients beware

is anybody elses ACLS class consist only of a CD that you have to do on your own and then print out a certificate. the CD is from the american heart association. there is no instruction just patient simulations basicly like on a manican but you do it like a video game. i can get my patient to live but when i get my evaluation i only get about a 5% on it and you have to have a 70% for each patient simulation. there are about 7 i think and then a written test at the end. i can't remember anything about ACLS. oh well, i guess if a patient codes i'll just call a time of death instead of going though the hastle of running a code. the outcome will probably be the same. just wanted to share my ACLS misery and see if anybody else has the same "ACLS class".
still itch'n and scratch'n in geogria,
jason

Can you do your whole residency over the Internet? Sheesh. I knew I should have picked Anesthesia.

Sorry, in Colorado we have to do the real thing and have a mock code and everything.
